Plot twist: the water truck is part of the fire department (in my country that’s how they operate)
OhtaniStanMan on
Do people really think fire trucks have magical supplies of water?Â
Or do they need hydrants? And if no hydrant nearby where do you think they get water? A water truck.

I think fire dept guys need bit more practising… I would assume taking hoses out and pressuring them should not take that long

Where is this? It looks like the Tonka play city. You have an RV, fire truck, water truck, a flat bed with a mail truck, a dump truck, pickup trucks, and a cement mixer.

That firefighter is angry! For sure

This probably isn’t standard practice. Water truck is not labeled as it would be if it were part of EMS response.
Also for 99% of fires, water is good. Would have sucked if this was the 1%.

I think fire truck brought the water truck because most fire engines will stand blocking the road and will would have to spend more time with fitting the hoses. SO get Another truck with spray to follow this would be standard procedure if they deal with lot with regular fires.

Imagine if it wasn’t the fire dept but a good samaritan in a water truck and it turns out to be a different grade fire and they make it 100x worse

With how im always hearin fire fighters are hella excited for fires and excuses to take the truck out and stuff, I wonder if any of em were disappointed they didn’t get to put it out after goin all the way there or just happy it was resolved in the end. I suppose you could feel a bit of both as well.

Any firemen here ? I’ve always wondered if water is the absolute best thing to throw at fires. I’ve always thought there must be something out there that is far more efficient

Maybe the fire department needs to change the design of the fire truck. Since its over all design hasn’t changed for over 100 years
